Calendar of Events

October 7 (Monday) 7:00 pm: Tunnel Study Citizens Advisory Committee Public Meeting in Pacifica. The panel will present the current state and findings of Caltrans' Tunnel Study, and take public input. The meeting will be held in the Vallemar School auditorium. From Highway 1, go east on Vallemar about 1/2 mile past the first shcool buildings on the left (Laguna Salada administrative offices) to the elementary school just after it on the left. (Vallemar meets 1 at the northern-most stoplight in Pacifica.) Just follow the yellow tee shirts and bumper stickers!

October 10 (Thursday), 7:30 pm: PTA-1 sponsors a public meeting on all things tunnel. Pacifica Community Center, 540 Crespi Drive, Pacifica.

October 12 (Saturday), 10:30am. Save Our Shores sponsors a glorious fall hike from San Pedro Valley Park in Pacifica to McNee Ranch State Park in Montara. Fifteen guides and experts including botanists, historians, geologists and more. Save Our Shores is dedicated to protecting the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary and is a proud endorser of Measure T. For more information, call Barbara (415) 726-3123.

October 16 (Wednesday) 7:30 pm: SOC/CATS public meeting on Measure T. Veterans Memorial Senior Center, 1455 Madison Ave. in Redwood City.

October 23 (Wednesday) 7:00pm: Pacifica City Council & Chamber of Commerce Forum on Measure T: 2212 Beach Blvd in Pacifica. Questions in advance to Pacifica Chamber of Commerce, 450 Dondee Way, Pacifica 94044. (415) 355-4122 for more information.

October 24 (Thursday) 7:30 pm: SOC/CATS public meeting on Measure T. San Mateo Library, 55 West Third in San Mateo.

November 5 (Tuesday): Election day. VOTE TUNNEL!

November 6 (Wednesday): Celebration day! Picnic and party at the saddle between Montara & Pacifica, where no freeway shall ever go.
